Some people are, ahem, in the mood all the time. And differing sex drives can be an issue in relationships. There could, however, be one simple way to make yourself want to jump into bed with your partner though: go for a run. That may help get things started.
It is the biological, driving force that makes us think about sex and behave sexually. The heart rate, breathing and blood pressure also increase. The sexual response cycle has been described as a 3-stage process in men and women: desire, arousal and orgasm. However, this may not be so straightforward in women for a number of reasons.
Especially in men and women over 40, a low sex drive means less of a desire to jump in the sheets. The good news? A decrease in the desire to get it on is something that can be worked on.
